Anahata Healing Arts

My name is Liz Collins, I am founder and director of Anahata Healing Arts, a healing ministry drawing on modalities from the yogic sciences, somatics and massage, energetic herbalism, and vital whole foods nutrition, to help myself, my family, and my community to experience life in a vital and beautiful way, through connecting to our own true nature. I am an eco-feminist, earth poet, mystic, gardener, mother, yogini, tantrika, permaculture groupie, and dreamer.

May we listen deeply together for that quiet voice that leads the Way.

Background and Expertise

My first passion in the recognition of physical and spiritual health and well-being is yoga. I am a certified instructor with over 17 joyful years studying, practicing, and teaching. I hold a BA in Integrated studies with an emphasis on Sanskrit and South East Asian Religions from Evergreen State College.

I am a Certified Massage Practitioner through CAMTC with 11+ years professional experience in somatic therapies and massage. I acquired my early massage certification from Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute and have continued to study there and with other teachers through Esalen institute and beyond.

I am a certified Integrative Holistic Health Counselor and graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

I am a registered herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild who has studied with plant spirit medicine healers in Peruvian, Chumash, Oaxacan, and Western herbal traditions and through ongoing personal practice and study with plant spirit medicine. I am currently enrolled in the Professional Herbalist course through East West School of Planetary Herbology, comparing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine (TAM), and western herbalism.

It is my joy and love to sow and disseminate seeds of empowerment, earth stewardship, health, wellness, joy, and vitality in myself and my community on a daily basis.

Hare Om. We are One.

With Blessings and in Gratitude,
